Prices include VAT, from each range's page. Heights are about 2.47m, under the 2.5m limit for rooms near a boundary.5
What's included and what's not
- Included: delivery and installation on the UK mainland, plus wiring, a fuse board, sockets, lights and a radiator.2
- Not included: "a suitable base or electric installation".3 SMART can lay ground screws or a concrete ring beam at extra cost.4
The base goes in over 1 to 2 days, about two weeks before the building, which then takes 2 to 5 days.4
Lead times and payment
The FAQ gave a lead time of 18 to 24 weeks.4 If you need the room by a certain date, ask for a firm one before you pay the deposit.
You pay a 25% non-refundable deposit, 45% four weeks before installation, 25% when work starts and 5% on completion.4
SMART offers a planning service for an admin fee plus the council's fees.4
