What's included and what costs extra
- Included: lighting, electrics and a consumer unit, delivery and installation.1
- Base: the building sits on an adjustable chassis on composite feet, so no concrete base is needed.1
- Extra: connecting the mains, at £960 for up to 40m of cable or £1,200 over 40m.1
Installation takes a day for a small studio, 2 to 3 days for a larger one and 5 to 6 days for a very large one.1
Renting instead of buying
Booths no longer offers finance.1 Instead you can rent: offices from £190 a month, with installation from £2,995 and an 18-month minimum, or annexes from £745 a month, with installation from £5,995 and a 24-month minimum.2
Lead times and payment
Allow at least 8 weeks from your deposit.1 Studios need a £100 refundable deposit, and the balance is due when the groundworks team arrives. Payment is by bank transfer or cheque, not credit card.1
The 25-year guarantee
The guarantee covers the base, walls, window and door frames and roof for 25 years, with 5 years on interior fittings and 12 months on door adjustments and electrical units.3 It applies to UK mainland installations, can't be transferred to a new owner, and needs an annual roof inspection. Homes within 2km of the coast may need the panels repainting after 15 years. The guarantee page is a summary, and the full terms come with your order.3
